Theatre Travels started as just a humble, hobby instagram account where our Founder, Carly, would share short reviews on shows she was seeing around the world. That concept continued to develop and develop until, in January 2019, Theatre Travels full length online reviews launched.
As at September 2026, we have reviewed over 3000 productions around Australia, as well as shows in the UK, Scotland,
New Zealand and beyond.
Our reviews are intentionally kept colloquial and easily accessible. They are positive and constructive. We don't have ads because we want you to enjoy the reading experience! Our sole mission in publishing these reviews is to encourage more people to see more theatre, and, as such, to continue to grow our industry.
