SMASHED: The Brunch Party at The Grand Electric is a sensationally fun, silly, loudly and defiant joyful way to spend an afternoon. Hosted and curated by Victoria Falconer, the cabaret show boasts many dazzling performers and is an excellent showcase of local weird and wonderful talent and artistry.

SMASHED is playing at The Grand Electric, a perfect venue for in-the-round cabaret performances where every person can feel like they are stepping into something special and are sitting right in the middle of the action. With its wide array of performers and artists, no show is exactly the same, with the magic of live theatre and expert audience interaction ensuring everyone leaves having a unique collective experience and wonderful memories to share with their friends.

Victoria Falconer starts the show off with her own number, flexing her vocal abilities and natural charm and charisma that immediately put the audience at ease. A true professional, Victoria sets the intention of the show from the very beginning, leaving no doubt in anyone’s mind that they will leave The Grand Electric on a high, having had a ridiculously fun experience celebrating all things queer, camp and fabulous. Bettie Bombshell dazzles in a burlesque number that is high energy, captivating, funny and sexy all at once. She plays the audience like a fiddle, showing why she is celebrated for her skills and talent worldwide. Circus and burlesque extraodinaire Adam Malone intoxicates the audience, strutting around the stage in stilettos and pulling-off his titillating and death-defying acts that have the audience on the edge of their seats. Kelly Ann Doll performs a number in her signature award-winning style, fusing the very best elements of comedic and glamorous burlesque together. Boo performs a thrilling and unique number, performing a stunning pole routine while delivering flawless classical vocals before transitioning into a pop number. This is what SMASHED is all about, bringing different art forms together in truly unexpected and beautiful ways. Boo demonstrated athleticism, grace, poise and truly out of this world breathing technique in this showcase of her many talents and absolute fearlessness.

With moments of audience participation, SMASHED is perfect for people who don’t just want to sit and see a show but who want to party, get a little rowdy and truly immersed in the action. SMASHED is a perfect way to spend an afternoon with friends, drinking mimosas, and enjoying the talent that Australian cabaret, burlesque and circus have to offer. Victoria Falconer creates the perfect environment and provides all of the ingredients for an absolutely fabulous and carefree  time. The consummate host, she never lets a single person feel bored or unwelcome for even a second. SMASHED: The Brunch Party is a lavish, entertaining, affirming spectacle that the world could use a lot more of at the moment.

SMASHED: The Brunch Party is on only one Saturday a month at The Grand Electric with the last performance date being the 21st of November. Audience members must be 18+.
