Theatre Travels and Olivia Ruggiero Productions are proud to present, Broadway Diva
Opera and Musical Theatre singer, Olivia Ruggiero, stars in Broadway Diva - a cabaret featuring Broadway Belts, West End Wonders, Opera Classics, and beloved show tunes from productions such as Les Miserables, Anastasia, Cabaret, smash, Jesus Christ Superstar and more.
The show is a celebration of ‘earworms,’ those songs that stay with you long after you have heard them on stage.

Olivia developed a love of performing at an early age, undertaking many creative studies including piano, trumpet, drama and singing. She completed her singing exams with Trinity Guildhall at age 17 and her drama exams with Trinity Guildhall at age 16. She received a Diploma in World Theatre and a Diploma in Musical Theatre from IMEB in 2014.
Olivia graduated from Griffith University at Queensland Conservatorium of Music (QCM) with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre in 2017.
Olivia has also had the opportunity to perform at the 2015 Tourism Awards; Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts as a featured soloist in 2017; as a soloist with the Queensland Pops Orchestra in 2017 and was featured in the “Thank You for The Music: An ABBA Celebration” at the QPAC Concert Hall in 2017. In 2018 Olivia portrayed Raelene in the Australian Premier of S*** Storm at Anywhere Festival in Brisbane. In 2022 her one-woman show “Puppets” premiered at KXT before touring to The Butterfly Club in Melbourne, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Bondi Pavilion in Sydney. “Puppets” was awarded Best New Musical in the 2022 Broadway World Sydney awards and Olivia was awarded Best Cabaret Performer. Olivia is excited to premiere her new show “Broadway Diva” at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2023.
CARLY FISHER​
DIRECTOR/CO-CREATOR

Carly is a Director, Producer and the Artistic Director and founder of Theatre Travels. For the company, Carly has produced 20 shows (2018-2022) and has directed 10. Additionally, as a freelance Director and Producer, Carly has worked on brand new, female led Australian works. Carly has directed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and produced an Off Off Broadway season in NYC.
At the core of her creative practice, Carly is passionate about Directing and Producing Cause-Focused Theatre, that is, theatre that is a call to action and can be used as an educational tool to change minds and attitudes, or to call on change.
Carly is also the creator and producer of the NO: INTERMISSION festival and the editor of Theatre Travels’ active reviewing platform.
2022 credits include: In Their Footsteps (Adelaide and Canberra), 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche (Sydney and Adelaide), Puppets (Sydney, Melbourne, Edinburgh), Silenced (Sydney), The Culture (New York), Young Bodies/Somebody’s (Sydney) and the Sweet Science of Bruising (Sydney).
In 2022, Carly worked on shows that won and/or came runner up in 6 categories of the Broadway World Sydney Awards.

THOMAS SAUNDERS
ACCOMPANIST - ADELAIDE
​
Thomas majored in classical piano performance and instrumental teaching at Adelaide University. He is an examiner for AMEB and Rockschool examinations and is a busy teacher, performer and accompanist. Recently, he has performed the popular Carnival of the Animals by Saint Säens at various locations, including Adelaide Zoo, Ukaria Mount Barker, Goolwa and Noarlunga. He has attended summer schools in France with Jean Paul Sevilla (classical) and Melbourne with Joe Chindamo (jazz). At the 2018 Adelaide Fringe he performed The Rite of Spring for 2 pianos and in 2015 he was accompanist for 12 sell-out performances of ‘Call Mr Robeson’ featuring the music of Paul Robeson. He has also premiered his original pieces featuring two pianos and clarinets at the Adelaide and Melbourne Fringes. He has performed in the presence of HRH Duke of Kent for the Adelaide RIAUS centre gala opening and been guest artist for a science/music presentation with the popular science commentator Dr Karl Kruzelnicki.
CALLUM SANDERCOCK

Callum Sandercock is homegrown here in Sydney, Australia. He studied at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, Brent Street, and the West Australian Academy of the Performing Arts where he appeared as Warner in Legally Blonde. Callum has also appeared professionally in Funny Girl, Grease (Roger), Hairspray, Wicked (Fiyero u/s), Annie, A Chorus Line, and most recently in Jersey Boys (Swing) for Norwegian Cruise Lines
ANDREW WORBOYS
ACCOMPANIST - SYDNEY AND AVOCA

Andrew Worboys – Composer, video designer, vocalist, pianist and
musical director, grew up in Orange, a town in the central west of New
South Wales Australia, surrounded by Pub Rock and Musical Theatre.
Andrew has been musical director for professional productions of SWEET
CHARITY, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, ASSASSINS, HIGH FIDELITY, RENT, TRUTH
BEAUTY AND A PICTURE OF YOU, AMERICAN PSYCHO, MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG
(Hayes Theatre Co) THE DISMISSAL (Squabbalogic) , A CHORUS LINE (DTC),
BETTY BLOKKBUSTER REIMAGINED (Redline), MR BURNS A POST ELECTRIC PLAY
(NIDA), THE LOVERS (Bell Shakespeare) and is a regular performer and
musical director for the WHARF REVUE.
In the world of Cabaret and Concert Andrew has performed alongside the
likes of CHRISTINE ANU, JENNY MORRIS, MELANIE SAFKA, FLORENCE AND THE
MACHINE, PAUL CAPSIS, TREVOR ASHLEY, JIMMY SOMERVILLE and JOHN CAMERON
MITCHELL.
Andrew co-produced the original Australian cast recording of HEDWIG
AND THE ANGRY INCH starring iOTA and Jimmy Somerville’s album SUDDENLY
LAST SUMMER.
In 2015 Andrew received from the Glugs the HAYES GORDON MEMORIAL AWARD
for Important Contribution to Theatre and in 2019 won a Sydney Theatre
Critics Award for his work on AMERICAN PSYCHO.
TORY ROTH
ACCOMPANIST - ​BATHURST
​
Tory Roth is a multi-instrumentalist who has resided in Bathurst for over twenty years. Her training was Sydney-based and then extended to Trinity College London as a singer. Tory enjoys playing piano, especially for other singers, and loves Broadway repertoire for its challenges and contrasts.
MARK BRADLEY
ACCOMPANIST - MELBOURNE
​Mark has a varied career as a music director, pianist and keyboard player for many musical theatre productions and cabaret artists including a Diploma in Performance Piano from the New Zealand Music Education Board.
His professional theatre credits include Australian touring productions of Wicked, West Side Story, Aladdin, The Book of Mormon, School Of Rock, Madagascar, Mary Poppins and The Wedding Singer as well as large local productions of Jersey Boys, We Will Rock You, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, Evita, and Sister Act.
He regularly plays for events, venues, performances and cabaret performances. Cabaret artists include Delia Hannah, Rutene Spooner Les Femmes and most recently, Hayden Tee.
SANDRO FALCE
TECH DESIGNER - MELBOURNE
​
Sandro Falce is a comedian, podcaster, radio presenter and show technician from Melbourne. He's worked both on-stage and behind the scenes at comedy and theatre shows for almost a decade, including the comedy group 'Paul Noodle PhD Candidate', the Best Comedy winner at Melbourne Fringe Festival 2019 'The Living Room', numerous Best Newcomer nominees and winners at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and the winner of both the Golden Gibbo and Most Outstanding Show at MICF 2023. He also works as a sound and lighting designer, working on the touring show 'Shakespeare Aliens' and the upcoming 'Shakespeare Ghostbusters'. Sandro can currently be heard on his podcast 'Oldie But A Goodie'.
